Worldwide, more than 20 study communities are working on Rudolf Steiner's four Mystery Dramas in their own national language and perform them as a community of players.
They thus realise a central aim of the School of Spiritual Science within the Section for the Performing Arts.
The themes of the dramas constantly stimulate new creativity and new ways of practising the performing arts (speech, acting, eurythmy, music, stage design, costume design, lighting).
Fifteen of these groups of players (amateurs and professionals) met at the Goetheanum in July 2018 for an exchange of their work, along with glimpses of scenic work and performances of the same scenes in different languages.
In 2019, a colloquium was held with the directors on staging issues.
In the future, too, we in the Section for the Performing Arts would like to invite you to meetings and exchanges at the Goetheanum.
The following locations are currently actively working on the Mystery Dramas:
mysteeridraaman esitys ja seminaari – Tagung und Aufführung
Esitel pitää Michael Debus Saksasta – Vorträge durch Michael Debus
